Amanda Telles has been a Catholic school educator in the Diocese of San Diego for six years, three of which were here at the Nativity School. She has a passion for religious education and helping her students grow in love of the Lord.
In 2019, she transitioned her skills from the classroom to the office in order to become the Faith Formation Coordinator at Nativity. She loves supporting our excellent catechists and promotes fun, hands-on activities that help children better understand their Faith.
Originally from Florida, Amanda graduated from Ave Maria University, a Catholic, liberal arts university near Naples, FL. She moved to San Diego to teach and fell in love with the west coast, the vibrant, Catholic community in the area, and (of course) with a California boy. Now she’s here for good!
Amanda and her husband, Daniel, enjoy reading, making excellent coffee, and hiking the many beautiful trails in San Diego. A few years ago, they walked the entire coast from Oceanside to Imperial Beach over the course of several weekends. They have one daughter, Jayne, who likes to wave at people during the 10:30 Mass.
